With the new Named Director of the communty, Blue_Flower , comes in some new adjustments and changes in the forum's system. The new design is necessary and requires the full support of communal members. What is this 'communal members', you ask? I will cover that in this system changes threads.

System Changes

Ideology definition - From now on, we will have a clearly defined ideology to be followed. The ideology followed depends on the named Director. there are two ideologies - Communal Progress and Administration-controlled progress. My ideology, communal progress requires the named director to be a deciding and controlling body, while the other members outside the administration are to implement the decisions along with the named Director. Members are also required to contribute to the forum in one way or another, there are no exceptions. We have a small community, and to prevent any kind of board suspension, this system will be effective. Ideology under a single ruler may be subject to change. This brings us to the question of communal member. A communal member is a member, who has accomplished the following requirements:

  • at least 15 posts*
  • active participation in 3 or more discussions
  • personal AMA thread and introductory thread
  • One (1) or more contributions to the community#

What is the importance of a communal qualification? Well, a communal member will have access to many more privileges than the others. Such privileges include:

  • creating custom emoticon (PM Ferby with your emoticon)^
  • credit prizes for certain contributions
  • Post milestone credit prizes

Moreover, there are going to be new revamped rules with clear warning styles for different kinds of offences, new games and lots more! I hope you're all looking forward to have a great four month with me as the Named Director. Thank you for choosing me, and happy Summer Holidays! (My summer holidays ended, I'm now enjoying the cool monsoon :snicker: )

Regards,
~Flower

# - Various possibilities to contribute are coming soon. For eg. Monthly Newsletter
^ - The following requirements should be met:

  • The icon can be no bigger than 35x35 pixels
  • It must represent your character (who you are). An example of this is Bug's emoticon being a bug (a Pokémon too).
  • The code used for your emoticon must be an alias of yours (nickname, real name, username, etc.) as to be recognised as your emoticon
  • Must be viewable across all colour schemes and themes
  • Preferably no background
  • May not be changed regularly

The very important change is awaiting approval.

:glare:
Whose approval?

We work as a staff team so changes are usually run by everyone before they're released/announced.
