With the new Named Director of the communty, Blue_Flower , comes in some new adjustments and changes in the forum's system. The new design is necessary and requires the full support of communal members. What is this 'communal members', you ask? I will cover that in this system changes threads. System Changes Ideology definition - From now on, we will have a clearly defined ideology to be followed. The ideology followed depends on the named Director. there are two ideologies - Communal Progress and Administration-controlled progress. My ideology, communal progress requires the named director to be a deciding and controlling body, while the other members outside the administration are to implement the decisions along with the named Director. Members are also required to contribute to the forum in one way or another, there are no exceptions. We have a small community, and to prevent any kind of board suspension, this system will be effective. Ideology under a single ruler may be subject to change. This brings us to the question of communal member. A communal member is a member, who has accomplished the following requirements:
What is the importance of a communal qualification? Well, a communal member will have access to many more privileges than the others. Such privileges include:
Moreover, there are going to be new revamped rules with clear warning styles for different kinds of offences, new games and lots more! I hope you're all looking forward to have a great four month with me as the Named Director. Thank you for choosing me, and happy Summer Holidays! (My summer holidays ended, I'm now enjoying the cool monsoon )Regards, ~Flower * - non-spam posts # - Various possibilities to contribute are coming soon. For eg. Monthly Newsletter ^ - The following requirements should be met:

I like the idea of a communal member. However, I don't think a personal AMA thread is necessary. If so, then I wouldn't be a communal member . Also, I think it should probably be harder to get a personal emoticon. Most of our members can meet the communal member qualifications that you have set out, and if we start gaining a lot of new members then we will start to be swarmed by a ton of new emoticons that represent people that have a high chance of going inactive in less than a month. Maybe make it an option after 100 posts or something? These are obviously just personal suggestions, that may or may not be agreed upon within the community. What do you think? |

I have discussed with Flower and it seems there was a misunderstanding. To be considered to be a Communal Member you must first be recognised as a Member of the Community, not just a regular registered account. The requirements to be recognised as Member of the Community are a lot more strict compared to becoming a Communal Member. |

What's the difference between Member of the Community and Communal Member? They look more or less the same to me? It says that you get an emoticon for being a Member of the Community, but now it says that you have to be Communal Member to get an emoticon? Although....a Member of the community could easily become a Communal Member, the requirements are more or less the same.

Yes, they're more or less the same. I shouldn't be telling this open, but just to clear things up, this thing will act as a catalyst of activity. The main focus is on the 'credits for work' part, and even though they'll be in small quantities, they'll work. ![]() This whole thing may come as unnecessary or something, but this entire thing is actually to act as a catalyst. @Flying cat: I am glad it's well received. I'll see if I can remove the AMA thread requirement, but 'to establish many connections / friends on Gravity' is the basis of that part. To allow others to get to know you more is, in fact, a crucial part in establishing connections. But anyways, I'll figure out one way or another for you. I hope it's fine with others if I make a few mistakes at first? Since it's a communism approach, I want whatever I think to be officially announced, which can be discussed about in the same topic. That way, it's better. I get really confused when you have to post something official and you're not allowed to discuss it after posting it. ![]() Thank you, ~Flower |

Well that's new. OK this sounds cool, I look forward to how things work out. And I was without a computer for a few days which is why I was inactive. |
